As a UC alumni, a happy ending to this for me would be you going to Xavier. LOL!
Anyone who attended the University of Cincinnati knows what an unresponsive, bureaucratic mess it is. Back in January, I provided my Alice In Wonderland experience, and promised to write the most scathing letter and send it to the president of the university, etc.
Well, UC now has an online complaint form. I filled it out, but only gave scant generalities and a phone number.
Guess what? They called me!
The assistant dean of the business college gave me a ring the other day, then followed that up with an email. I followed that up with an email, which she responded with an email.
Shortly after I got the call from the assistant dean, I got a call from the head of the accounting department.
You'll never believe this, but they were actually pleasant. The assistant dean said she looked forward to having me in the program!
Not in a million years would I expect any of the above from anyone at the University of Cincinnati. Maybe positive change is finally happening at my alma mater!

It seems that once you get past the admissions flunkies, the acutal college faculty et al are pleasant to deal with.
That and the fact they need money aka tuition! [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's more of an acknowledgment than an actual membership with full benefits. I'll have my contacts send you the appropriate honorary junior subordinate membership card.Originally posted by cincygreg:

Your obvious problems in dealing with simple conversations is probably one of the reasons they kept you waiting. You obviuosly cannot handle any kind of pressure situations and always result to childish tactics. It's sad that you've never learned how to deal with others, you may have become a productive member of society. Instead, you've become a bitter person who always tries to one up everyone because you have a huge inferiority complex.
I pay the same dues as everyone else, I ahve the same card as everyone else. Anyone who graduated from any of UC's universities and pays their dues can be a member.
They arent all elitists like you.
